This site is a tribute to David John . He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Our precious dad David JOHN Morgan passed away on 19 th August 2021. He was snapped away from us , from my mam, having suffered with acute severe pancreatitis caused by a gall stone which we never knew he had . 
We rushed him in to hospital and 6 days later he died in ITU with multi organ failure. 
We are totally shocked and truly devastated that our precious dad and husband to my mam for almost 60 years has been so cruelly taken from us. So few people just like us really understand the seriousness of this horrific disease . 
Therefore as a family we are so keen to raise awareness and want to support the ongoing research in to pancreatitis currently being undertaken by Dr James O’Kelly .The main focus is trying to understand how an enzyme (known as KMO) interacts with the immune system in acute pancreatitis. It is known that KMO produces a chemical which directly damaged organs .

Thank you all so much for the love and support shown to our mam and all our family in this most difficult and saddest of times. It has been the most horrendous time but the outpouring of love and kindness has helped so much . Thank you xxxx
We are keen to support research in to pancreatitis and the devastation it can cause .We want to support and raise awareness of this truly destructive, and potentially life threatening disease which was harrowingly the case of our precious dad. A gall stone which we didn’t know he had , moved out of the gall bladder blocking the duct . This caused massive inflammation in the pancreas which led to multi organ failure within just 2 days.
